It appears that Opera Mobile is about to get a leg-up in the race for mobile browser supremacy. I suppose that would all depend on your criteria, but that’s neither here nor there. According to Forbes magazine, a spokesperson for the company blabbed it would be announcing deals with some U.S. carriers at next month’s CTIA in Las Vegas. Our guess is one or more of the four major carriers; Sprint, AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile. Opera is already working with T-Mobile Europe, so inking a stateside deal only seems natural.

Opera Mobile announcement at CTIA?
