Wow, I can hear happy G1 users rejoicing all around me right now! The “Cupcake” or Android 1.5 update has been made available to developers via SDK, and apparently an individual referred to as “haykuro” has managed to get the software from the HTC Magic over to the G1. If you don’t want to wait for Google and HTC to get the update to you, hit up haykuro’s blog where you can find helpful tutorials that will help you install this sweet little update.
